Phase 1
We began as a civil works and building contractor — delivering roads, buildings, and basic infrastructure projects. In this stage Kokeb established its reputation for quality workmanship, safety, and dependable delivery.
Phase 2
As mining and industrial activity grew in Northwestern Province, Kokeb expanded into mining support infrastructure, industrial buildings and depots, logistics and transport facilities, and electrical and mechanical works — transitioning from a general contractor into a multi-disciplinary engineering company.
Phase 3
Today Kokeb operates as a broad-based infrastructure and engineering group, supporting large-scale civil and road projects, industrial and commercial developments, mining-related infrastructure, energy and utility infrastructure, and industrial service facilities. Design and construction of a landmark 14,000 m² warehouse and office complex. Its distinctive, non-rectangular geometry posed a sophisticated engineering challenge — mastered to deliver a facility balancing architectural uniqueness with peak industrial functionality.

Luxury Riverfront Residence, Livingstone
A striking riverside residence on the banks of the Zambezi near Livingstone, overlooking Africa’s mightiest river close to Mosi-oa-Tunya (Victoria Falls). Built by Kokeb, the brick, concrete and timber home is crowned by a rooftop terrace facing the falls’ rising spray — an internationally recognised example of high-end residential construction.

Chililabombwe, Copperbelt — for Mingomba Mining (KoBold Metals)
A 1×4 classroom secondary school block in Kawama, Chililabombwe, built for Mingomba Mining Limited — the Copperbelt copper development owned by US-based KoBold Metals — as part of the mine’s corporate social responsibility programme. Kokeb delivered the school from start to finish in a remarkable nine weeks, to the delight of Mingomba’s management and the Kawama community, and it was officially inaugurated on 5 June 2024. It is a vivid example of our uncompromising approach to project execution and our commitment to the communities we serve.
